Our team comes from all walks of life and different circumstances. To ensure everyone has the chance to participate, we spend a lot of time fundraising to cover uniforms, training fees, travel and regatta costs.
It costs over $40,000 a year to keep our two teams afloat... that's a lot of fundraising so we make sure we have fun doing it!

Golf TournamentIn recent years we have held a Charity Ambrose golf tournament at Judgeford Golf Club SH58, Pauatahanui. The major sponsor for our last tournament was Oil Intel / Importer of Total Lubricants in NZ.
A great day is always had by all with fab prizes, excellent golf and lots of laughs. |
PopUp ShopOur pop up shop has been running regularly for the past few years and has become an eagerly anticipated annual event. We sell donated clothes, shoes, and jewellery in vacant shops in Petone. This is a great fundraiser for us and usually kicks off with a fun launch night with supper and bubbles.

Food Truck Fiesta
Held on Saturday 27 June 2015 at Southwards Car Museum. We created four 'food trucks' - an Irish, Asian, French and dessert truck. Sacha from Poland, comedian, was our MC for the evening. We had over 100 guests who could choose from any or all of the food trucks. There was also an auction and Lotto draw, buskers and entertainment. Together we made over $5,500. Thanks to all our guests, supporters and sponsors.
BraveArt
With the help of Carrara Ceilings we created plaster torsos using some of our team members as models, and 6 celebrity supporters. Local artists then made these into unique artworks.
The torsos were sold at auction on 21 August 2014. With the generous help of our supporters, this huge fundraising event raised nearly $15,000.
