The registration fee for team members for a season is about $200 per person. There is also a fee of about $150 per regatta to cover transportation and accommodation (this fee applies to 2 regattas - regionals and nationals). These fees are reviewed yearly.
We are fortunate that we do a lot of fundraising to cover most of the events we go to, however this could change at any time, so team members need to be prepared to have to pay extra if needed. An example of how much it costs us per person each year:

It costs over $40,000 a year to keep our team afloat and a lot more when we compete internationally - that’s a lot of fundraising. We generally run a fundraiser every month outside of the main paddling season. This usually includes some very popular annual events such as our Mother's Day or Mid-winter Christmas high teas, quiz nights, movie nights and at least one party a year :)
